6 OMG Super Cool Moments of Skyrim

Guys, I know I've been blogging about Skyrim again and again these days - from reviews to tips and secrets - but just bare with me for this very last post, for Skyrim is 2011's Game of the Year, literally and figuratively. It's an awesome game, no doubt about that. Therefore, I find that it's only apt if I conclude the year with a dedicated post for all the insanely-crazy, simple, yet immensely-powerful moments which defines what Skyrim is all about.

1)He got skills!
Skyrim is a world of endless possibilities where anything can be possible - this will only mean that some crazy, crazy stuff will happen and this is simply one of the many examples, something more than a headshot.

2)Modified
Sometimes, the plain old game can be rather dull after a while. But when that time comes, just get online, search for some interesting mods and your Skyrim world can be really, really different - and not to mention, extremely retarded.

3)Music Classic
Seriously check this out man, that is one extremely talented, beautifully-pieced video of Skryim's main theme song, on violin classico.

4)Fus Ro Dah
"Fus Ro Dah" itself is almost synonymous when it comes to videos of Skyrim, where people sync the main theme song of the game with real-life-moments, just take a look (and max your volume if you may) and you'll see what I mean.

5)I took an arrow to the knee
Likewise, "I took an arrow to the knee", a joke inspired by Skyrim of course (which I don't really understand lol), has become largely popular. The best remix ever.

6)'Tis the season to be jolly!
Oh yes, when it comes to Christmas, it's all about decorations, gifts, and of course, lightings! And from this video, it's quite apparent that Skyrim has largely influenced his Christmas.

8 Must-Know Tricks and Secrets of Skyrim

Save, save and save!
This is the most basic, yet extremely essential, simple action that you must get used to. After whatever you are doing, wherever you are and whenever it is, save before you proceed. This simple act is especially important during dungeon quests. After every 'horde' of enemies, after every turn (maybe not THAT extreme), SAVE. You wouldn't want to go all the way to the end, only to die under the final 'boss', would you?

Be generous
Don't be such a stingy dude, everytime you see a hobo roaming around the town, offer him a buck. Why? Because that simple action, that one buck which costs you nothing at all, gives you a bonus to sell your items at a much higher price. 1 Buck for 50? Definitely worth it. (:

Speed Travel
It's okay if you are too lazy to explore all of Skyrim by foot. Find a carriage just outside a town and instantly travel to the town you want. Do note that only larger towns are available though.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review [Updated]

Fancy slaying some dragons? Tomb robbing the undeads? Joining the thief's guild while destroying everything as a black sorcerer? Being a werewolf and even a vampire (no, not Twilight)? Then you will surely, if not obsessionally fall in love with Skyrim in an endless adventure around the carefully-crafted, Scandinavian-inspired land.

First Impression? Holy mama WOOWW!

From the start, Skyrim offers an absolutely beautiful world, weaving together nature and war, history and fantasy. Flora and fauna energises the land with serenity while creatures and corpses heighten up the stakes while you unleash your skills as a dragonborn - someone who has the soul and blood of a dragon, with the ability to speak in the ancient dragon tongue. But before you think that Skyrim is just another RPG game with extraordinary visuals, think again.

Starting tomorrow, 10th of December, a new series of articles on Skyrim will be featured every Saturday in dedication to, in my humble opinion, 2011's Game of the Year. In the subsequent Saturdays, you will see me focusing on everything Skyrim - from reviews to tips and even exclusive mods. Not only will they be posted here, but I will also be tweeting using #SkyrimSaturdays. To know more, and everything Skyrim, stay tune, and follow me. (:
