[Borderlands 2] Gaige the Mechromancer and Deathtrap, introduced.

Done trying all 4 classes of vault hunters already? Thinking of getting the Mechromancer DLC but clueless about what its all about? Here's a short but interesting introduction to Pandora's new hero (I like to call them that hehe).

Sir Hammerlock makes his appearance once again with his distinctive voice telling you what this seemingly petite-looking girl can actually do. Though small in size, her skills are not to be messed with. And judging with how DLCs often are, new classes introduced are usually equipped with much more fancy features and this is pretty much expected looking from the trailer above.

Deathtrap

This is Gaige the Mechromancer's active skill. And no, its not merely setting a trap. Instead, it's a huge ass (ok not THAT big, but bigger than Gaige) robot which wields a range of skills any robots depicted before should have. Laser beam, electric shock, replenish armor, explosions? Check, check, check and check.

------------------

I haven't got the chance to try Gaige the Mechromancer out but simply looking at Deathtrap, with its little petite owner obliterating anyone and anything in their way, sends a chill down my spine. (In a good way, of course...maybe.)

[Assassin's Creed 3] Tomahawks, rope darts, hidden blades, and more weapons in latest trailer

First thing that comes into mind when the Assassin's Creed franchise is mentioned would possibly be its signature hidden blade. In about all the past titles, the hidden blade has arguably played a major part in the progress of the game, and for some has been extremely pivotal.

Enter Assassin's Creed 3 where you are brought right in the middle of the American Revolution. This time around, new weapons have been introduced and in particular, the tomahawk. From the very first cover image unveiled to newly released screenshots, the tomahawk have always been clearly present and this suggests that come this Revolution, it will play a major part and this would possibly become your new favourite weapon.

But hang on, there's another. Actually, there's many more but from the trailer above, one particular weapon stood out - the rope dart. This is a fresh addition and an interesting weapon which have a fairly unique gameplay and usage. Hide above the trees. Patiently wait for your target. Here he comes. Let the rope dart go, and hook he cries to his death. Perfect.

Latest Assassin's Creed 3 Trailer Tries To Touch Your Heart. Fighting For Freedom and Independence

As you may or may not know, Assassin's Creed 3 is set during the American Revolution which evidently, involved vast amount of massive damages and its fair share of pain sacrifices, for the sake of gaining independence, and for the other, to retain power.

Hence, behind and beneath many, many innocent deaths and valiant sacrifices, lies a deep, patriotic story in which every single soul and life is stalling their strength for the sake of independence. And in this latest trailer, effectively tells a simple, yet strong story sending a powerful message that Assassin's Creed 3, might just contain a very, very deep story with underlying affecting secrets, waiting to be unfold.

*Assassin's Creed 3 releases October 30th on the Xbox 360 and PS3

Watch the Exclusive E3 Dishonored Gameplay Trailer

Dishonored is one of the top games I was looking forward to this E3, it's certain dark, mysterious angle in its trailers ticked me off at the very beginning, and this trailer was simply amazing to say the least. Dishonored is a RPG game in a futuristic, fantasy-like world where the protagonist is driven by revenge, and only revenge is his sole motivation.

Evidently, it is very action based, but Dishonored is definitely more than just mere action. Lying behind the story are elements of stealth, magic, and sleek combat. Though the developers haven't revealed the mechanics of the game, yet, we feel that Dishonored will be a mix of Deus Ex and Assassin's Creed with magic, and what could possibly result from it? Pure awesomeness.

Dishonored is slated for release on October 9th, on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

[E3 2012] Assassin's Creed 3 Official Trailer

Assassin's Creed 3 is one of the most, if not the top, most anticipated game for this year's E3. And oh my did it live up to our expectations. Here's the official E3 trailer for Assassin's Creed 3 and by just watching it, I couldn't help but really imagine again what would happen if a real Assassin's Creed movie was released in the cinema. If such an animation is that powerful already, just imagine the possibilities of a real movie...

Halo 4 Beta Gameplay Video Leaked

There is absolutely no doubt that Halo 4 is one of the most highly-anticipated game this year for Xbox gamers, and only a select few were lucky enough to get on its beta preview. So just few days before the largest gaming event of the year, the E3 2012, where more Halo 4 details are expected to be announced, someone was brave enough to upload a gameplay preview for us. Of course, don't expect for top-notch game quality but it's better than nothing, right? Anyway, looking from the leaked video, one thing certain is that Master Chief is back with a bang.

[UPDATE]
Sorry there folks! Looks like that was some serious Halo 4 stuff Microsoft really didnt want anyone to know...

First Dishonored Gameplay Trailer Unveiled

"Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. You are Corvo, the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Framed for her murder, you become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. In a time of uncertainty, when the city is besieged by plague and ruled by a corrupt government armed with strange technologies, dark forces bestow supernatural abilities upon you."

If you haven't heard about it yet, Dishonored is Bethesda Softwork's latest piece of art, and it sets you in a futuristic, supernatural world with gameplay like Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex. So similarly, it's about flexible combat and extreme abilities with high-tech weapons and gadgets to dispose off any nuisance.

Dishonored is slated for release on October 9th, on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Assassin's Creed 3 World Gameplay Premiere: on Freedom and Liberty [Trailer]

"Trapped between two worlds, Connor dons the mantle of the Assassin in the fight for justice against the Templars. Sentinel, outsider, and champion, Connor defends the land against those who would infringe upon freedom and liberty."

1,776,000 shares after and the world gameplay premiere of Assassin's Creed 3 is now released. Their 'Unite' marketing strategy have been quite so very effective I would say, and the meaning behind it is much appropriate when you watch its gameplay trailer - which is all about freedom, liberty, and of course, how assassin the protagonist Connor is.

Assassin's Creed 3 Releases 10th October on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Unveiled With BIG Changes - Futuristic Setting, "Braching Storylines"

Evidently, the Call of Duty franchise is here to stay and its next title will be all about the future. Say what? Yeap, no more cold wars, no more world wars, no more historically-based wars. Instead, let's welcome some big changes to its franchise and the first of all will be the whole new setting in a futuristic world of robots and highly-advanced arsenals.

But that's not all, along to its Game Director Dave Anthony, the series' linearity "has been thrown away, with the game to feature "branching storylines" and "player choice" allowing players to decide their own path as the game progresses. He also added that, "and all bets are off in term of how you expect this game is going to play".

Before I share my thoughts with you, check out their first trailer featuring an old man, gorilla-looking robots, spaceships, wild wild west horse riding and of course explosions, explosions and michael bay explosions.

Personally, I feel that their new change in setting and the new "branching storylines" will be, hopefully, setting a whole new direction to the franchise. Like it or not, linear storylines and straightforward rambo-like gameplay is not anything fascinating anymore, and this change should revitalise and bring a fresh start to the franchise again. However, they might just lose some fans with the futuristic change. At the end of the day, we already have Halo 4 (releasing just one week before) and Mass Effect 3 to kill aliens. Oh wait, this has no aliens, right?

What's your opinion on this change? Shoot us your thoughts! (:
*Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 releases on November 13 on the PC, PS3 and Xbox360.

Introducing Dishonored. Think, Deus Ex + Assassins Creed

The developers of Skyrim brings you their latest, all-new debut of Dishonored - set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where strange technology and otherworldly mysticism coexist in the shadows. I don't think there's an exact genre but judging from the trailer, it would be a stealthy, steampunk, assassin-like action game so we would like to think along the lines of Deus Ex and Assassins Creed; which would definitely be something to hype for.

"Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Framed for her murder, you become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. In a time of uncertainty, when the city is being besieged by plague and ruled by an oppressive government armed with strange technologies, dark forces conspire to bestow upon you abilities beyond those of any common man.

In Dishonored, creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine the numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make."

Angry Birds Space Takes Over NASA, Announces New Features

Angry Birds is taking over the world. Merchandises of the franchise have been mushrooming all over the world with soft toys and shirts and bags and cakes...you name it, all taking over the world! But they aren't stopping anytime soon - they are expanding their reign to the space. In fact, they have already taken over NASA in their International Space Station. Yes, NASA as in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration! (lol I actually googled it)

Their latest announcement features NASA astronaut Don Pettit flinging an Angry Bird in his space station, showing and explaining to us the trajectory and space physics of throwing things in space. So basically, that concept will be applied in the new Angry Birds Space, which will be available for download for the iOS, Android, PC and Mac start March 22.

Official Assassins Creed 3 Trailer Confirms American Revolution Setting

After days and months of waiting, with rumours, spoilers and leakage cropping out of every corner of the internet, there's finally an official announcement on Assassins Creed 3. And yes, the rumours are true, there will be a change of setting and scenery, and the plot will be based on the American Revolution between the Brits and the, Americans obviously. Though nothing has been said about the supposedly new protagonist named Connor, the trailer did tell us that tree-travelling will be possible and will play a big part of the game considering most battle sequences seem to partake in the dense, snowy, alpine trees.

What do you think about the change of setting during the American Revolution?
[Assassins Creed 3 is releasing on the 30th of October for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC]

The World Is In Play: PS Vita's Genius Advertisement

The latest advertisement/commercial for Sony's latest portable game console, the PS Vita in conjunction with its (kinda) major launch on the 22nd of February in North America, Europe, Singapore and Taiwan. It depicts the various scenes in what is claimed as the "the best launch line up ever", which includes Uncharted Golden Abyss, EA FIFA Football, WipEout 2048 and Little Deviants.

[Video Comments]: Sony's a genius; or rather, whoever Sony hires to make all it's advertisements is a god damn genius. Video games doesn't necessarily need to be virtual, they can also be literal you know.

Execute With Style and Gore in Darkness II [Videos]

WARNING: Not for those weak-hearted. Click here now.

You're still reading this or you've probably clicked the youtube video already, didn't you. Yea, thought so. Anyways, if you have played The Darkness: Digital Extremes [ I ] before, Darkness II will pretty much be the same in terms of its gore, blood, and brutality. Killing someone is probably extremely normal for a Darkness gamer but what differentiates one from another is exactly HOW you end their life.

Just to give you an idea on what this game is all about and how is it that you have "tentacles", Darkness II is a first-person shooter game where you'll most probably not use your guns at all (for me at least). Though you are equipped with two weapons, your ultimate signature is the Demon Arms (the "tentacles") which is also like your "third-hand[s]". The four videos here are simply some of the many ways to fully-utilise your signature weapon to the max of its potential - executing your foes inside out

brutalizing like an anaconda..

slicing with style..

tearing them apart, bit by bit...

EA Brings Dead Space Onto Android, and now the iPhone and iPad

Damn the temptation. My final exam trials are just a week away and this comes up? It's simply too irresistible. Zombified aliens? Or more precisely, hordes of decapitated-but-perfectly-fine Necromorphs? Bring it on baby! But, wait a minute, didn't I just did that few years ago? And at the start of the year again (Dead Space 2)? Yes, but that was on the PC (or PS3/Xbox 360) and now, it's on the Android - see the link there? Aliens...android...dead space...awesomeness. Well, most mainstream games fail to do well on the mobile device due to the different controls, graphics, gameplay, bla bla bla...they're all simply excuses. Because, according to the reviews from users, as well as blogs, "Dead Space plays well. Incredibly well" according to Android Central, while Dave commented that it was "an absolutely stunning achievement" on the Android Market. Damn the temptation, again.

Here's a trailer but I reckon you are better off playing the game.

Get your copy from the Android Market here for $7.17 (RM21.50). Cheers!

Update:
Dead Space is now on the App Store!

Assassin's Creed: Revelations Launch Trailer Pulls It Off Again

Damn, I just cant get enough of AC: Revelations.First there were bloody sneak attacks and massive frontal damage, then there were the hookblades brandishing at every opportunity, and recently the secrets of Abstergo. But ultimately, its Launch Trailer has once again strongly reinforced the reason why everyone should, and must (sorry for being overly-biased) get their hands on the game. Enjoy (:

Latest Assasin's Creed: Revelations Trailer Reveals Secrets of Abstergo

Assassins Creed: Revelations is just a week away and although it's (in my opinion) disappointingly overshadowed by the likes of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, I'm definitely still up for it. Scaling the walls, sneaking behind shadows, and silently assassinating your targets have never been better than shooting down fragile opponents. This time, the latest trailer depicts the inside-news of Abstergo Industries, one of the largest and most prominent multinational corporations during the 'modern era' of the story; and though it genuinely contributes to the pharmaceutical technology industry, it is in fact at the forefront of the Templar Order, with their ultimate goal to obliterate the entire Assassins Order.
